How to Make Golden Brown Pancakes
Do you ever try to make pancakes at home but just can’t seem to get them like those at the restaurants. They are that perfect golden brown all the way. How do they do it?
There are several factors in the mix here. You have to have the right batter, the right pan, and the right technique. First, you have to have a good basic pancake recipe. Make sure it has the right amount of each ingredients. It should have the right amount of oil or butter.
Next is the pan. It should be greased, but not heavily. Don’t pour a bunch of oil over the pan. This will end up frying the pancakes which will get them browned in the wrong way. Use a nonstick pan and very lightly grease it with oil.
The pan should be a griddle and it should be hot enough. Make sure it’s plenty hot, but watch it carefully so that it doesn’t burn. It will cook fast, so be careful!
Now for the technique. As I mentioned, keep a close eye on it. They probably won’t take more than a minute to cook on each time. Flip the pancake carefully. Enjoy your golden brown pancakes!
